Nope, Snow Leopard doesn't come with iLife, and iPhoto's a part of iLife. You're supposed to buy iLife 2011 when you upgrade to Snow Leopard, the 2008 version isn't compatible or something. But I don't wanna:)

AUD16 in the App Store for iPhoto... but yeah, if all you're doing is slurping files off the camera for Flickr upload, you don't need that. I may have an iLife install disk about the place for iLife 09.

That said... Is there /Applications/Image Utility.app ? Might be in /Applications/Utilities/ .

I think you can configure that to slurp files off your camera and put them in a directory.

Um, Image Capture.app, I mean. Spotlight search for it should find it, if it comes default, which I think it does.
