I just watched the last episode of the Amazon Rings of Power series, and am left overall with a feeling that the whole thing was very pretty, but somehow oddly small-scale, and full of missed opportunity.

Hi Bunn. I agree with you on RoP. Just saw the last episode of the season last night and could only say wtf was that. Had to rant about it on Discord today. Sad, because with all that money, it could have been soooo good. I liked a lot of the actors and thought they did what they could with the script, but it was the storyline and characterizations that, for me, just felt off. Like the big emotional moments, for that most part, weren't earned. The whole Halbrand storyline, no, I just don't buy most of it. I agree with you about Robert Aramayo. I really liked his portrayal of Elrond and I wasn't prepared to like him, as he didn't look right, to me. Ack, I could go off on a rant. It's just that I've read so many fics that handled a lot of this so much better.
