I miss the friendly Gunnislake post-office with Jack the dog and windows that let in the day-light, though we're starting to know the staff here a little, and it is undeniably

LOL. Yeah, that really sums thing up right now.

Judging by the fact that I was the only person in the Co-op wearing a mask yesterday, everyone here believes the pandemic is over.

I am very glad that Wales is sticking to its mask law. Though even in Devon when I was last there most of the smaller businesses had signs up imploring people to wear them, and most people were complying. I did notice that people at the service stations on the M5 were being less careful.

We were supposed to have a plumber here working on the bathroom at the mo, but he's got Covid and has to isolate. Which is at least reassuring that he DID report and isolate.
