Oscilating wildly between fury at people declaring we should all 'get over' Covid, stop making such a fuss and accept that deaths happen, and fury at people who cheerfully report their neighbours for imagined lockdown-breaking offences and think that people should be arrested (how??  By whom?)  from travelling more than two miles from their house

You have my sympathy! I am wildly contradictory in my own attitudes about what is reasonable and what is not. It's hard.

The first is a horrible attitude to have, when people are still suffering, and as for the second, you never know another person's circumstances, so one should never assume!

You're in the right, for being tired of idiots like this. *hugs*.

I'm waiting on a test result at the moment. I feel OK so far. It might be a common cold - but I know that everybody has different symptoms on a different timescale. I'm sorry the Landpersons (don't want to assume) caught a heavy viral load, but I'm glad your Mum has had the vaccine.
