Firstly, we are not in fact characters in a convoluted Victorian drama.  The authorities did on Monday disavow all knowledge of Mark's dad's body, but only for a short while and then it turned up, as did his will.  This was a great relief.  The stress has been declining since it peaked at that point

Oh, wow! I cannot believe they temporarily lost his body! I should believe it. That happened a lot in Brooklyn in April and May. During that period I felt less like I was living in a Victorian drama and more like in a Monty Python movie. I am so glad that things are continuing to improve in your immediate little world.

I am sorry to bring up politics, although this is more fantasy actually, but I keep feeling like that things will magically improve if we can only get rid of Trump.

Herding cats for the move made me smile. If I had any money and lived in Britain, I would buy your old house in a nanosecond. I am certain that will work out! It is very desirable.

I agree that depression can often be genetic. Lucky me! It runs in my family too. Happy it is better than it has been.

Getting rid of Trump would certainly make the world feel that bit brighter.

Oh, speaking of psychosomatic reactions to the plague. I have started calling them night terrors. I often wake up with scratchy throat and a dry cough in the wee hours before dawn from post-nasal drip (which I have have suffered for years!) and decide, "Well, the plague finally got me! I'm kind of surprised it took so long!"

They get me if I'm feeling tired and down, mostly! Then I get that 'is this the real thing' doubt. I'm sure if I do get it I shall have difficulty telling the difference... Brains are weird things.
