On the move with a fig (I hope)

I don't seem to have posted for ages. A month ago, we had just put our house up for sale : this Friday, the painters finished painting it, and today we have (I hope!) sold it. It does look good with the sun shining and the paint all new!

I'm so glad you posted because I've been thinking of you and wondering how everything has been going. You have been amazingly productive in trying circumstances. (I have been attending webinars and eating crisps.)
Best of luck with the move and the cuttings.
I suspect the cats will soon be acting like they've never lived anywhere but the house in Pembrokeshire.
Good luck with the next steps!
I'm off to read your stories now (and eat more crisps).

Congrats on the sale! Wow! That seems like it went fast. Are those solar energy panels? It does look very attractive. Love the color against the landscape. No wonder it was so easy to unload.

I wish you a smooth transition into the new place.

Yes, we put the solar panels in about five years ago. They do quite well, really, even in the winter: we sell any unused electricity we generate back to the grid.

It used to be that this was a deeply unpopular area, ex-mining, a bit depressed and not close to anywhere with jobs, but it's come up in the world a bit, and the people who are buying it are retired, I think, and very keen to do energetic things to the garden!

Naughty Theo! :-)

Here's to an exciting new chapter for you (no pun intended - although I do hope that the writing continues to go well, also!) *hugs*
