Yes, the sort of beachy area is dog friendly and at low tide you can walk out over the sand and up onto the headland, I did the walk when I went to see it (because of course the dog-walking is the most important!)

Great point! Congratulations!
One of the ways Laura and I have entertained ourselves through the Pandemic is looking at houses for-sale on line. In order for it to be fun they have to be within the realm of possibility within an only slightly kinder world. So our comments range from things like "That one's a steal at that price!" to "Kind of nice, but ugh! so overpriced." I have to show her this one--I think she would agree with me that it is terrific!

My previous doctor got quite alternative before he retired and swore that if one stopped eating sugar, it would cure any number of ills. He probably had a point, just -- very difficult. I'm glad it's working so well for you. Must admit the last time I cut carbs I had masses of energy. Can't remember why I fell off that wagon. Possibly laziness..

The Second Nature people seem to have quite a bit of science behind them, though I'm not exactly well-qualified to assess it, there's a daily article to read, and some of them go into a reasonable amount of detail about nutrition and physiology.
