Took the hounds out for a longer solo walk yesterday.  Theo was pulling on the lead quite a bit to start with, but my iffy knee felt FINE and so I proceeded to walk all the way  up onto the top of Hingston Down and along as far as Drakewalls before turning for home.  It was pretty quiet, though I did see a few walkers at a distance here and there ( Read more... )

What is the name of the Chinese sword and fantasy drama? I have been intrigued by the stills on Tumblr--because the cinematography is so pretty! I could suffer a lot for that level of visual stimulation of a fantastical kind.

The one I'm watching is 'The Untamed' on Netflix.

Though I think there are a few different series I've seen stills of circulating, The Untamed seems to be very popular with Silmarillion fans. The protagonist Wei Wuxian is very Feanorian, I think you'd like it.

OK! Thanks. Yes! He is one of the ones I have seen on Tumblr. With that face he could be an Elf right out of The Silmarillion.

in time of uncertainty humour is a most revolutionary act..

Theo loves catnip....

I love the slightly puzzled expression on his face.

Ah... Wei Wuxian... I may have to watch that again.

If you find you have a taste for Chinese drama, Nirvana in Fire is generally agreed to be the Best Series Ever.

Theo finds many things in life puzzling, judging by his earnest wrinkled forehead. I'm not entirely sure if he likes catnip because catnip, or if he likes the catnip toys because the cats do and he loves the cats. A comical little dog-person, he makes me smile.

Nirvana in Fire? Noted. Perhaps I'll give that a go when I finish The Untamed.
