...Lurcher stands awkwardly in background. Poor Rosie.  She didn't want to play with him today.

I should get my old manual lenses out. The autofocus lens can't cope with puppy heading towards it at top speed.  At the moment, recall training is going swimmingly, since Theo is still at the age where a sliver of cheese or a biscuit is SUPER EXCITING

Oh goodness! He's just so adorable. Poor Rosie. She's getting old and creaky, as I understand it, and sometimes a puppy is probably Too Much for her.

I must have misheard you when you said what breed Theo was. I heard you as saying that he was a Greek Harehound, but clearly you were actually saying Great Earhound. :-)

Well, actually, I initially heard it as "hairhound," so had an immediate image of a dog with a slim, short-haired Rosie style body and a massive floppy fringe and wild frizzy hairdo. But the ears of reality are even better than the hairstyle of imagination. :-D
