Sadly, even at an actual American chain restaurant, half of the rockstars on the walls are *still* British. Or Elvis.

I have never seen HP sauce in a restaurant/pub/diner in the US that did not also have a British Pub theme--although Google tells me that A1 sauce is similar to HP sauce, and it is available in some grocery stores.

The food was pretty good. It seems to be one of a tiny chain of cafes (4 of them) that are only located in Devon & Cornwall. I am intrigued, and wish I knew why they had decided on that particular theme!

Somehow, it felt like the most British place I have ever been. If it had been a village pub with morris dancers, it would not have been so British. :-D
