1. Do you like blue cheese?

YESyesyesyes.  ALL the blue cheese  I can't decide if I regret introducing Pp to the wonders of blue cheese.  On the one hand, if he buys blue cheese I can eat it :-)  However, if I buy blue cheese, he might eat it. >:-(

Norway is indeed very pretty.
I would do one of these but I do not have favourite colours, books, movies, places, I never had them and would have to put "don't have one" for about half of the questions.

I probably heard a life's worth of Russian songs here by now but it will take a lot more to get me sing any of them in the shower ).

These things always seem to focus on 'favourites' but like you I find it hard to narrow down such wide classes of things to only one preference!

You can indeed get to Norway without airports, although the ferry from Newcastle to Bergen doesn't run any more.

I don't mind small airports - even up to the size of Bristol. But the Heathrow or Gatwick type mega-airport is just so vast and horrible!

I know :-(

(And my idea of a "small" airport has changed since using Kirkwall ... and then changed further since using Westray, Papa Westray and North Ronaldsay ... )

I think the smallest I've flown to is Akureyri, and that seemed a little too close to a bus station somehow. Plymouth airport was delightful : big enough to have a nice comfy cafe and all mod cons, small enough that you could turn up half an hour before the flight and park where you could see the plane.

Tragically, it turns out that an optimally-sized airport within an easy drive of other slightly larger airports is rather vulnerable... a problem N Ronaldsay is unlikely to have, I guess!
