Attacking the hillfort

It stopped raining!  Well, not entirely, but at least enough to remind us what sun and blue skies look like.
The river Lynher was very full and cold and clear and fierce, but it was inside its banks, which it was not last time we came this way.  I wished I'd brought the real camera, but I didn't, so I just took a few phonephotos.

All our rivers have made their way down the flood plain and are mud-coloured...

Lovely hillfort. I do like that picture of Rosie and Brythen carefully studying the defences - I hope they were able to overcome any fat rabbit resistance.

I think we've now had so much rain that the relatively small amount of mud that collects on our granite hilltops has all gone travelling at top speed down to the sea already. Even the pebbles look like they've been scrubbed.
