We're going to see the camellias...

But in fact I only got one good photo of a camellia, in the whole National Camellia Collection.  And it was a pink one, which is my least favorite sort: I prefer the dark red ones, or the plain white ones (only the white ones look so manky once they start to turn brown around the edges)

The Earl of Mount Edgcumbe? You mean he's actually a person, and not just a steam locomotive?

Lovely pictures - that's an excellent folly. :-)

All those begats, and not one wife or mother! It's like they are aphids or something.

What sort of cheese does Rosie like?

Rosie (and Brythen) enjoys a nice mature cheddar. They may well like other cheeses too, but cheddar is easy to cut into cubes and holds its shape reasonably well if you carry it about in a bag.

They are awfully picky about treats. Cubed liver, for example is acceptable only if absolutely fresh-cooked, once kept, even in the fridge, it loses its charm, apparently.

I approve of their cheese taste.

Lovely photos. The camelias, daffodils, and both dogs on the dark path are particularly striking.

Happy belated birthday, if you go in for "happy birthday"s. =D

Rosie does an excellent supercilious look. In the picture with the scarf, she looks like some very superior, glamorous lady, who's arrived at a society event draped "casually" in her oh so expensive designer scarf ("oh, this old thing?"), who is now pretending to scorn the society photographers, while secretly relishing the attention.

Brythen is staring at those domes of cake in much the same way as Pellinor does, when we pop into a cafe "just for a cup of tea, no food or anything," and the counter is littered with mounds of homemade cake.

Oh, and a belated happy foggy birthday! :-D

Yes, she does! That is totally her 'Oh, this old thing?' look. :-D

I think Brythen is actually staring at Pp, who he loves dearly. Rosie was staring at the cake.

A belated thank you for the belated happy birthday!
