Bob's Mystery Condition.

Bob has had his X ray. The good news is that there is no sign on the X ray of any functional problem or acute arthritis. He did his crawling thing a couple of times while he was there : they wondered if it was related to his poor eyesight, as he's less likely to bump into things when crawling. Poor lad - it's such a worry when you don't know the cause of a problem. I hope they manage to pinpoint something on the scan.

It does sound like the Metacam is helping, and that part of the problem with Bob's screaming may be remembered pain rather than actual pain...

It's so hard to tell! I am sure he would be a popular dog as he's so pretty and sociable, but we obviously can't rehome him as long as this is lurking and we don't know what is causing it. :-/

He has started coming into the living room to snooze rather than staying in his bed in the hall, which is good news!
