Got a text from my sister saying her band got booked a couple of big shows. They will be playing April 27th with Stephen Piercey of Ratt and July 6th with LA Guns. Guess there will be some record labels at these shows and some big crowds. They are playing the 25th at the Gothic with a local DJs band and are expected to have 400+ people. The girls

That's really good news about your sister's band! Really awesome-I hope it all works out for them when they play ;-P That's a nice sized gig!
And Iron maiden! Wow ;-P I miss the metal bands-lol. I grew listening to this music-so very awesome! Can I sneak in to hear them play? *Giggles* Have a fun and safe trip!

Thanks for the support! They might be headed out your way one day. Got a call from a promoter in your direction so you never know.
And I will stick you in my pocket for Iron Maiden! *giggles* I hopefully will get some pics. We have lawn seats but there are only about 30 rows in front of us. Will for sure tell you how it goes!

Lawnseats are awesome! I went to the Peter Frampton/Styx concert a couple of summers ago and had lawn seats. I think my friend and I were the youngest there and I think our group going to IM will be the youngest! Nothing like the oldies! Yay! You should look on their site to see if they are coming to anywhere around you. They don't have a lot of dates scheduled but you never know!

Yeah, I like the Gothic. Hopefully the sound is better there than the Bluebird. They played there last year and it was so bad!
If you wnt to come, let me know. We have some comp tickets and I can put some to the side for you.

I would love to but I actually just arrived in North Carolina. My mom is kind of having a hard time with everything so I'm gonna stay here until the end of May. But if your sister is booking anything after that I think it would be awesome to come see her band perform. Thanks for the offer hon.
