Suffice to say, I now know that no radio stations in NYC play actual music, and it's no wonder New Yorkers are so irate when YOU DON'T SEE THE SUN EVER WTF. DUDE. I could not believe it ...the only time we actually heard a solid 10 minutes of music was at about 7:30 on Saturday morning. The rest of the time it was play two songs, listen to the DJs talk for 10 minutes, then listen to 10 minutes of commercials. RIDICULOUS. I guess maybe I'm spoiled, but all the stations around here have AT LEAST 50 minutes of commercial-free music. I guess the airwaves are more expensive in NY? O.o;

But it is sunny, and green, and full of people who don't necessarily look at you like you're something they scraped off the bottom of their shoe. :D (New York made me feel exceedingly frumpy. So many rich, well-dressed people, oi.)
