OMG. I watched the new DW last night and LOVED it. I liked Martha more than I thought I would. Although yeah. Still miss Rose.

I know, me too! She's actually pretty smart and resourceful, and keeps her cool in crazy situations, which I admire in a woman. :D I'm sure I will eventually grow to love her as much as I loved Rose. (Although Billie Piper will always hold a special place in my heart because she is so NORMAL looking, and wears chipped nail polish to premieres, and has too-dark roots showing, and, yeah, I love that she's got flaws that we can all see. :D )

Yes exactly! And that is how I feel about Rose/Billie too. She was NORMAL.

I think we'll be seeing Billie around more, though. Doctor Who is likely to be a springboard to other roles. :)

I thought Doctor Who was excellent! I'm glad that I get to be excited by Martha (because I had concerns, but she turns out to be clever and interesting and pretty cool)

Still not sold on the Blue Suit, but I think it too may grown on me.

(I especially liked the bit in the article about him mourning for 17 seconds and then skipping happily over corpses.) :D
