I don't know what kind of books you like, but EVERY slasher should read a) Mélusine by Sarah Monette (it has sex and violence and angst and pain and a sequel) and b) The Vesuvius Club by Mark Gatiss (which has wit and gay and London and evil).

Mm, yes. I still can't believe that, of my 902384093284 movies, it is not in the collection. It's just that it's so damned expensive! But if I use a gift card, I'm not really spending the money, right?
