2012 - The Year in Review

Since I wasn’t around LJ much in the second half of 2012, I will give you all a year in review.

I'm glad you went with your 'heart' on the back splash. And I'm so stinking jealous of your Trans-Siberian Orchestra viewing.

They installed the back splash today but have to come back tomorrow to grout it. It's slate corinth, which means it's long, thin pieces of tile and it breaks easier than regular tile. Originally I wanted it installed vertically but after seeing it horizontal (and realizing how much they'd have to piece together), I decided that was the way to go. It looks fabulous! I have zero regrets and can't wait until it's all done.

Are you a big TSO fan? If so, then trek up here next year around Christmas and I'll get an extra ticket for you!
