She's already pretty fast while crawling, and quite adept at getting out of her playpen ... heaven help us.

Will the TA be helping with the security for the Olympics at all?

Probably. The government has only now finalised the plans for security, and are using a strong Army presence for security. Alas, the TA is usually an afterthought for the Army top brass, so we'll only hear firm instructions much later (when it's really hard to arrange time off with our employers).

Well, sure. I have a squillion videos/photos of Claudia reaching for the camera with a big grin - i.e., the moment *after* she was doing something really cute/cool/impressive and worth recording...
(Although by now, she's totally gotten the idea of posing/demonstrating for the camera, and will co-operate at least a little. But then it's her turn, because her latest cool/impressive/cute trick is taking pictures for herself.)

My best shots are when I just hang around with the camera, waiting for the perfectly cute moment. It will be a while before V cooperates for any shots.

You'll be surprised...they get the hang of the camera pretty quickly...especially girls! Then you have to hang with the camera pretending not to take pictures because every time they think you are they pull really doofy "smiling" faces and all you want is their natural cuteness :-) Also more pics on facebook...pwaaaas...I need to vicariously appreciate your little princess!

Wait wait wait! What do you mean, "anything beyond MS Office"? My mind is truly blown. ;-)

For the Victoria problem, I reckon you should just mount a head-cam on your head, that you can switch on the moment she does something amusing/interesting. :-)
