I loathe Core Humanities. The worst part about it is that my professor comes up with these outrageous writing topics that often involve connecting several authors/events that have nothing to do with each other. The end result is a jumble of mostly bullshit connections that are stretched to near transparency. I loathe studying for this class, as

This is what I think of as a failing of the instructor's. Connecting disparate authors through history should not be thought of as wasted time, but instructors either do not understand how to present the material or cannot because of the internal machinations of the university. Overall, I am disappointed in UNR because of things like this.

Yeah Core Humanities coulda been cool but they taught it all rigid-like and didnt present the material objectively.
