Absolutely not blown out of proportion. Ostracizing him from the group was mean-spirited and unprofessional. I'd demand a reshoot too.

Definitely not blown out of proportion. Just looking at the photo, if the photographer had placed the teacher behind the wheelchair the photo would have been balanced *and* included the little boy.

There are still a lot of people in this world who view the disabled as "less than" or not deserving of being treated like a fellow human. It needs to change.
