[Noel's headed to the shops this afternoon; the grocery and clothing store, to be specific. She knows she can't take long, because there's someone waiting for her back at one of the apartments. Yeah. I mean you look like you've been involved in a fight or something. [She lifts up a lock of Noel's hair and lets it fall back into place. She knows her friend wouldn't be wandering around looking so far from presentable unless there was a good reason.] Are you all right?

[Flynn has that tendency to wander around, and he's been trying to figure out how to talk to Noel after everything that happened in the past week. It would be easy to say that he was sorry and the experiment sucked, but it's not that easy considering what happened on Saturday. It just really complicates things.

However, once he catches sight of Noel walking into a shop, he can't just ignore it and try to brush it off any longer. He's following her inside, and he's quite amazed by the sight he sees. She looks like she went through hell.

Was it because of the last week? He can't help but feel incredibly guilty after this sort of sight.] ... Noel?

I... [She can't help but avert her eyes from him. Noel knows after last week with Flynn, things... things were going to be awkward for a long time. It wasn't fair, either--she knows that neither of them wanted it to be like this, and yet it happened anyway. She was dating Flynn. She kissed Flynn. She was in love with Flynn, and believed that he was always the one for her, but... that wasn't true, and she was only deluding herself.

Why couldn't she remember the consequences of last year?]
