[Not long after young Noel is dragged to good ol' House 48, Tsubaki will pop her head out of her room. She has flashes of vision now and then, but they're still weak and blurry. So, since she knows dat voice and its owner is still vaguely the same blurry shape, she has no reason to suspect that there's anything amiss here.]

H-Huh? [Noel looks for the source of the voice and finds Tsubaki. Only... Noel doesn't know who Tsubaki is at this point in time, so it'll only be met with confusion.]

Now that he had seen her face, it would probably worry Ragna more if it turned out not to be Noel, but that isn't the case here. But by the way she's looking at him... it's like she doesn't even know him.] Why do you know my name...?

However, it was that night that he saw the small form huddled in the bitter cold. Approaching slowly out from the veil of frosted mist, the form of a figure clad in white and grey could be seen, a conical hat shrouding his eyes.]

[She had just woken up and was freezing, unsure of what happened and why there was suddenly snow--speaking of snow, was there a weird sound of something... crunching? It was nearby and slightly faint, but Noel could hear it. Turning her head, she can see the man.

She's immediately frightened; this was the first time she's been face to face with someone who wasn't her parents in... months. The only people she knew were them, so this was completely different to her.]

[He drew forward and knelt down, removing his hat to see if his eyes and ears were playing tricks on him. No, it was indeed a small girl. He glanced around in confusion. How could one so young been allowed to wander out on her own in such weather? Turning back to the girl, he bowed his head with a gentle smile on his face.] You may call me Jack, young miss. Are you lost, little one?
