Awwww :) Thank you so much! I love this, and I'm so happy that you wrote it for me. Poor Jack, all alone on the satellite, thinking he's been forgotten about - but he's not, and he's been brought home again :)

This made me laugh out loud:
“Weeeeellll… you’re not the prettiest crier, really, it’s made your face all red, and your hair’s a bit greasy. And you do smell a bit. Kind of like a chemical smell. Like swimming pool chlorine and, I don’t know, sort of burnt rubber-and-ozone. Were you crawling around in a melted console or something? But it doesn’t matter, I’m sure you’ll be - ”

You cheat, though - you never told me whether the Doctor did go and lather Jack up, and we missed seeing Rose's face when the Doctor walked into Jackie's flat with Jack behind him. I really would have liked that scene :)

Rose moved slightly to give him a slow, linger kiss on the lips

Think you mean lingering - and I think you're a tease as well as Jack ;) This could turn into a much longer fic, you know

I'm thrilled that you like it! And thanks for the fixes. I'll try and see if I can get some inspiration for that walk-in-the-door scene.

Hell, this could be a VERY long fic. It could rewrite every episode from S2 and S3 as a new timeline, but I'm probably not that ambitious even if I did have the talent. However, I'll see what I can do. Once I've screened it through my LJ for comments and suggestions, I'll put it on the comm and on Teaspoon :)

I do love the idea of Ten going back for Jack while dinner was being prepared. The angst was perfect and I loved Jack's reaction to seeing the Doctor again, especially knowing that there's more to this than the Doctor's saying. I also loved that Jack was so flustered about meeting Jackie, that was great. And this line is pure comedic gold (and oh, so very Ten):

That was one of my favorite bits as well, especially because I managed to work in the phrase "pretty crier."

Of course, we know John Barrowman is a very pretty crier ;)

Awww... I loved this. :) You did a marvelous job capturing Ten's voice. I'd give a kidney for the show to have played out like this.
