Misha and I have adopted a birdy child, a little grey whiteface cockatiel by the name of Chubby Cheeks (but my pets always go through about 10 different names throughout their life). i am in love with bill haverchuck too! doesn't that scene where bill's in the kitchen and couch fredrick's drinks out of his mug after sleeping with his mom make you wanna cry?!

when it was rumored the show was gonna be cancelled (back before it was actually cancelled) i made stickers that said "SAVE FREAKS AND GEEKS" with bill haverchuck's face on it. i made 500 of them and i put them all over my town in hopes that people would save freaks and geeks, but no one did.

but it's okay. there's one amazing season and now a dvd boxset, which is so amazing! gordon crisp is also one of my favourites. apparently harris (dudley) is also THAT nerdy in real life!!

Bill is my hero on that show, he is a nerd but he stands up for himself and is loyal to his friends. Plus Martin Starr's delivery is the best on the show. (I googled him for a whole day once and read an interview where they said he often showed up for work drunk.) Gordon Crisp was also adorable, yes!

I remember seeing a few episodes when it was on the air, but that was during my last year of college so I didn't see it often. We rented the box set recently on a friend's recommendation and watched it for like 3 days straight and had horrible withdrawal when it was done. And now I'm all "WHAT HAPPENED ON THE GRATEFUL DEAD TOUR? DID LINDSAY TAKE LSD???? WHAT DID HER PARENTS SAY WHEN SHE GOT BACK? DOES SAM FIND ANYONE ELSE 2 LUV?" and Misha spent a whole afternoon trying to find Freaks and Geeks fan fiction online just so he could get himself some answers.

oh my gosh! did he actually find freaks and geeks fan fiction??? i'll write some to give to him. haha.

my fan fiction would include: lindsay would come back from the grateful dead tour totally fine, but kim wouldn't. she'd be really druggy and dump daniel and then lindsay and daniel would get together and kim would go all psycho! oooh, bill and vicky applebee would get together OR sam would hit puberty and be a total babe. cindy would want him even more and sam would be like "should i hang out with todd selenger? or my nerdy friends bill and neal?".

In my ideal world, the next season would have featured much more roleplaying and daniel turning more into a geek. And more geek girls, goddammit, they need more of them!!!!
