What happens when you love the instrumental intro section to a song but hate its lyrics?
That's exactly the case with my opinion of the DDR song "Boys". I absolutely abhor the lyrics. The music in the verses and refrain aren't that interesting either. But the intro somehow kicks ass. And that's the chord progression: i - VI VII i - VI VII i - VI VII i - VI VII ...
I'm not sure why, but I really like that chord progression, especially the way whoever it was (Smile.DK, was it?) wrote this.
