I just found out that the movie "The Seeker" came out yesterday, based on The Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper, one of my favorite series of books as a kid. According to critics, it's mostly a big disappointment. How disappointing. However, Into the Wild looks good, so I do need to see it.

into the wild looks SUPER good. what a crazy yet awesome cast. wait that's the one with adrian brody right? anyways i really want to see it too. have you seen Once yet?

No, I haven't seen it yet. It was playing on campus yesterday, but I couldn't go because of the Guster concert and working afterwards. I'll definitely see it once it's out on DVD, though. Adrien Brody isn't in Into the Wild, and most of the actors aren't well known. You might be thinking of The Darjeeling Limited (with Brody, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, and more), although I'm not sure.

I saw a preview for The Seeker, and was disapointed; it didn't look nearly as awesome as the books had been. Ah well.
