Back home....

...After what has seemed like forever, I am back in Okinawa....Along with Rin and Yuujirou...and our kouhai from Higa....They had chosen to stick around in Tokyo after the tournament to do some sight-seeing in the city and so they could wait for us to travel with them....I'm sure they're just as glad to see home again, though ( Read more... )

Then my choice of delivery boy was the correct one. I hope that...was what it was. It was a great deal more trouble than it is worth

[ooc: there's a veiled "you're welcome" in there somewhere]

......Yes....Ojii-san said it is indeed what he was wanting when he gave it a lookover.....Though I will say it was extremely disturbing watching a man of his age turn into a ten year old during Christmas time who just got that flashy toy he always wanted.....I never wish to see that ever again....

....And, er....despite attempts to convince him to think otherwise for the sake of my dignity, it seems he is choosing to be stubborn.......and will not be satisfied with simply sending his own thanks through me.......So be prepared to deal with an ornery old man at some point in the future.....

I will take his and your word over it. and I will take pleasure in the fact that you got to be so very distrubed by the exchange. Think of it as belated payback for those hearts...

and....I see...He need not do that. But I will heed your warning and be perpared for a far older version of youself. If he's anything at all like you, I am afraid I might not be able to treat him with the dignity his old age deserves

..........Che...Bastard...
I seriously doubt any minuscule perturbation you felt from my mock affection equals the mental anguish I was dealt over my normally stoic grandfather reverting to a starry-eyed little boy....You would have thought the same if you had experienced the display....And with any luck, you still will when he decides to "thank" you...

Seeing as I don't care to involve myself in this, I have no clue how he is planning to go about it...But at least you can be somewhat prepared for what is to come........Heh...Who do you think I ended up taking after...? Though you could say he is a lot more reserved than I am....

thank you for letting me stay with you Chinen-sempai. I'll try to keep out of your hair as much as possible and enjoy the great beaches.

.........Er...It's nothing, kid.....I invited you, so it only makes sense to play host.....
And don't worry about feeling like a bother......You couldn't possibly irritate the rest of my family as much as I do on a regular basis.....And I'm fairly certain Etsuko and Nozomi already adore you for that reason alone....They seem to have gotten this silly idea in their heads that you will protect them from me.........Heh...Little girls and their imaginations.....

[OOC: Chinen is the onii-chan from Hell. He torments his poor sisters constantly. XD]

true...but I can still say thanks

but I'll stop worrying. And I think I like your family a lot. And your sisters are adorable even if Nozomi wanted me to play dollies with her...

But yes...I don't know where they'd ever get that idea from! Maybe they think you'll be nicer while I'm about or something.

[ooc: if it got too bad, Touji would defend a little, but not too much. After all, he's probably loving the hell out of this "normal family" atmosphere]

It seems Kaa-san bought new dolls for her while I've been away....Looks like it's time to give each of them an official welcome to the household from Onii-chan.....I need to dig out my tweezers....And my "sacrificial scissors" since Etsuko got a new teddy bear...That means she won't be needing one of her older ones anymore....It's best to put the poor creature out of its misery before it becomes overwhelmed with jealousy...And its sacrifice will be used for the good of placing curses on people who deserve them....
.....That being said....it's probably best if you ignore any high-pitched screaming or crying you'll hear in a bit....

My guess would be that they think you'll be like Rin and act as their heroic princess....But Rin plays tea parties and wears sparkly tiaras and feather boas for them also......So unless you'd like to start doing that also, it's probably best not to cave to any of their whims too much ( ... )
