A meeting with a holy man...

Dec 22, 2008 04:26

Kavi-Ojii had a lot to tell us while we were at his hometown.....I found myself being both surprised and...honored....that he thinks so highly of me and trusts me so much that he wishes to pass on his teachings and possessions...and his very lineage...to the likes of me......I'm not really certain I will be able to live up to his expectations.... He truly is an awe-inspiring man, isn't he? I'd love to meet him again one day as well. I felt so at peace simply being in his presence.

I feel simply awful about losing my money, but I don't know where it would have disappeared to. I kept my wallet hidden in public to avoid potential pickpockets, and I could have sworn that it was with my things when I went to sleep that night.

As far as the two of them dancing for money, I find myself of two minds about the matter. On the one hand, I know they could go through with it and they'd be successful. On the other, I want to bludgeon to death anyone who looks upon my angel with lustful eyes.

He is...He has so much wisdom and enlightenment that I admit I felt...humbled...just by being able to hear him speak....

I'm fairly certain I had been keeping a watchful eye on my things...So I'm not really sure myself how I managed to lose my wallet...But nothing I can do now to change that...So best to figure out ways to fix our current funding troubles...

Likewise.....But if it comes to it, I'll still let Rin go through with the dancing. None of the leering masses are going to take him away from me.....And if anyone tries to touch him, I'll just break their arms...

[OOC: I sent you a PM, but in case you don't see it, it looks like MSN screwing with us somehow and you're not receiving any of the messages I send you. T__T; Hop on AIM if you can. I managed to get it working.]

Indeed. I felt the same, and could not find it in me to be anything but pleased at the feeling.

True enough, and he'll be rewarded for his hard work afterwards.

[Okay, so how are we gonna end this? Because they have to be in Okinawa/Corsica tomorrow night.]

Back towards Mumbai a bit early, like Chinen and Touji talked about, to have an Indiana Jones adventure for Rin? :3 And from there, they could just wander about the area until it's time for their separate flights, with Kavi deciding to stick behind in India for a while longer after they're all gone.

How did all of you manage to misplace your wallets? Hirakoba-kun or Muromachi-kun wouldn't have surprised me, but all four of you ... Careless is too generous a term, and reckless is giving you too much credit.

Have you somehow kept a hold of your passports, or will that require a trip to the embassy all of its own?

[ooc: Nope, he's not worried at all. :/]

I don't know...and that's the problem...I was keeping a close eye on my things, so I don't really understand how I managed to lose it...But it seemed like it just disappeared overnight during one of our first days there and I couldn't find it when I went looking for it the following morning...Rin had the same problem...

But don't worry over us...Which you are doing...again...I kept our passports separately, so we won't have to deal with the troubles of having to reissue new ones for ourselves...

[OOC: Buchou always worrying over his little team, no matter where they are and what they're doing. He really is a mother hen sometimes. XD]

I would hesitate to accept the "it just grew feet and walked off" explanation personally ...

If you somehow manage to misplace Hirakoba-kun in a similar matter, I'm letting you break the news to his mother. Are you not getting service in India? She's called four times in the past three days. Try to hang on to those, ne? I know how difficult it can be, keeping track of important documents.

[ooc: |DDD; Kite says that he thinks even little chicks have more common sense than his team sometimes, but I think that's more a matter of the kettle calling the pot black. ♥]

Apparently it was more like Muromachi's retarded ferret went rummaging through our stuff and walked off with them....We've since regained our wallets....And I will now be leery of leaving anything unattended in the presence of that fucking animal...

From what I can tell, Rin seems to be present and in one piece still...I even made sure to frisk him properly to double check and make certain everything was properly in place, despite the embarrassment it seemed to cause him~~ So Hirakoba-san need not worry...Her baby boy is still living and perfectly fine...We had service....We just weren't answering seeing as she was calling constantly...Thankfully, nothing small and furry tried to steal those...So we lucked out...

[OOC: Be forewarned, Chinen's going to end up mockingly clucking at him one of these days if he keeps that up. Which, Kite being Kite, he no doubt will. XD]
