I think I like this.. The style reminds me of what I associate with 'high literature', not always easy to read or to understand, but beautiful in it's own way. And it's definitely beautiful!

Parts of it have a certain breathless quality to them and overall, everything fits and leaves a wonderful impression. I wish we'd read things like this in class *sulks*

It seems slightly different than your usual style of writing.

I'm quite tired at teh moment so I had some difficulties following what was really happening in the story. But I read a second time right away and everything made sense. The second person narration is a bit tricky and I don't usually like it, but I think you pulled it through well. The end coda was my favourite part. Your language was very beautiful, somehow fragile.
