I can only express the effect this story has on me in three words: warms my bones.

I actually just read all of this story today. And it has got to be one of the best stories I have ever read. An emotional roller coaster that pulls you in, twisting your insides. For the first time in a long time my breath hitched and I was on the verge of tears. I can't decide who I sympathize with more, Jared for being so confused and young, or for Jensen who was torn between a family or a love that could of lasted for an eternity.
Brilliant is all I can really say.

Road Trips = Hell

I've stopped reading here because I have to crash sometime, but in my punch-drunk, headachey, euphoric haze; I have to add a comment:

You've been on a road trip, haven't you? This story is so real - people seem to understand that a road trip is a vacation, a step back from life. So many think to find the answers they need, and are heartbroken when none are found. Road trips don't give you answers, the best they can do is help you figure out what the damn hell the questions are anyway. Answers can only be found through action, through living your life.

This story ended just where it needed, where it had to end. Hopefully I can read more tomorrow. I wan't to see where you take this.
