[Phone]

Are you people actually playing along with this farce? I knew most of you were stupid but I didn't know you were this stupid! Anyone playing into their hands on this deserves whatever they get; I have my own target, but they can rest assured that I am not so foolish as to bend to the whims of our captors. And it could be any of you, since ( Read more... )

[Confrontation? Bianca? Really? When she couldn't find Hilbert, Dist was her second choice. So she's there helping strip the shelves, albeit a little more clumsily. Her books are mostly in order. She's already told Dist that she got a letter, but she's not going to do anything about it.]

We should be pretty safe here for a while, I think. It's scary, though.

We can wait them out. This is just another stupid game for them; for all we know when everyone's dead they'll just bring them back and throw confetti at them.

[Them, of course. Not us.]

People have been sent orders to kill other people. I'm refusing to follow them.

... I wouldn't call it stupid to be worried about the person you listed as 'most important'.

And... what will happen to them if we don't play this little game.

What do you think is going to happen? I'm asking honestly.

... I don't know. I really don't know.

But I don't want him harmed because of me.

So you let them win?

That's very nice of you, to not try to chase anybody! I know I wouldn't want anyone trailing me.

I'm just not interested in helping them.

Helping? But you're helping whoever you're not hurting, I think.

C but I don't know how you want to do this. wristsniper May 29 2011, 15:26:12 UTC
[After missing Dist at home, Olivier heads to the library. He's her target, and she has entertained the idea of finishing him off for the greater good, just to see what happens, just to investigate firsthand, but something has stopped her. Eirin may or may not be in tow, but she's separated from Olivier right now.

She spots Dist between the shelves, scurrying around like a proper worker bee-type, and she simply watches him for a few moments.

She's here to talk, not to kill.]

[It takes Dist a few minutes to spot her. When he does, he approaches cautiously; he has his guns on him, and he's not going to trust implicitly, but Olivier is sensible. They know each other. Plus, he's pretty sure he'd be dead already if she wanted him that way.

With some effort he moves the table out of the way and pushes the door open.]

Were you looking for me?

Vaguely. I went by the house to check on you, but you were gone. You work here, correct? I've heard about your pamphlet and... I'm impressed.

Can I come in? [She lacks her sword, of course, but she has two guns quite obviously strapped to her sides. Holsters are very slimming.]

[Compliments. The best way to get his guard down. He gives a somewhat smug grin and steps back to let her in.]

I have a copy if you want one. You're right to be impressed; everyone else is.

[Watching the guns. Not blatantly, just keeping an eye on them.]
