I know you mentioned in your last post that you weren't sure about the "flick" on the hem of the second one, but I think it works. I've seen skirts that are cut to have that kind of shape, and denim is a fabric that can actually hold it. If you curve the front waistband a bit then I think it will be just right.
As for the one on the HP mesh, I'm just not too sure about the texture. If those are both Maxis textures then wow, what a difference a few EPs make! The second texture is much more realistic looking.
True about the hem, I was thinking about that last night too, it's sort of that "tulip" shape that seemed to be very popular a while ago (maybe still is, now that I work from home I have no idea why people are wearing XD). I've tried curving the waistband with the warp tool but it gets so pixelated :P

Looking good! You're suddenly making me wonder why I haven't got any decent denim skirts like that in my game and that I may just need some. I'd say you may need to lighten the shading on the front of the second shirt a bit, there's a slight bit of an abrupt line just under the zipper area where it gets darker. Also, I read about the waistband issues on the HP mesh (sidenote: excellent taste in books! Neverwhere = win), I find the UV map will often help so perhaps this can be useful?

I'm more of a trousers/pants/whatever kind of person over skirts. I find it ridiculously hard to find a skirt that doesn't look totally stupid on me or doesn't make me look 10-20 years older.
I've never read the graphic novel (I didn't even know there was one). I have the regular novel though. Been a while since I've read it. I'd reread it if I didn't have a book backlog :P
