Again such a lovely chapter (BTW I am practically addicted to all of your work :D)
I loved how Provenza was watching out for Sharon, keeping her from saying anything she might regret. I can so easily imagine this scene in my head.
There also was so much humor in this chapter, although it's such an angsty situation. Well done, I really liked those dialogues.
I also like that Nick stays right by her side, she's his priority, although she doesn't seem to agree with that.
All that info on Brice, how hard it is on Sharon, so sad. I really feel for her while she is beating herself up over this situation, blaming herself for everything.
Poor Rusty though in the end. What's going to happen to him? And that lawyer bursting in Sharon was so close.
And all we can do is wait for the next chapter. Happy holidays!
I always appreciate hearing this. I want the characters to sound like themselves and as though they're engaged in real conversations.
It's so interesting to not write a ship, but a platonic relationship of mother and son, and really concentrate on their character growth. Particularly this early in the series, I can give them some background before the canon does. Glad you're enjoying the result!
... but it's xmas so imma find the light in the dark u.u "Aw, that's cute," said Flynn with a smile and Sharon smiled back. Nick frowned. LMAO XD "So I think if the two of you go at her, grandfatherly types--" Both men frowned and Nick grinned. ROFL XD
and who the hell is this wacko now??? D: you scare me! #EVIL teddy is very distressed

By now, you know the answer to that!
Uh oh... Things are getting even more complicated...
That's part of the problem. Damn this plotty plot! Trying to keep track of everything, and feel like I have a lot of spinning plates.
