Billy delivering swift kick to the ass was nice. Still not sure that Elosha wasn't a better choice in the show, but this worked really well for me. The harshness of some of the moments is much more jarring coming from sweet Billy-boy.
And of course who doesn't love a good about time moment. Obviously it pleased Bill.
Why does Lee promising not to let his Dad down fill me with dread?

I can't believe JE when she says that the dialogue was exactly as it was written if Billy had played in the episode. As I transcribed, I just couldn't see Billy saying it. Perhaps if BC had been in the role, they would have had to change the dialogue. I finally just had to have Laura note how out of character it was and how he was her subconscious, which Hub!Laura says as well, so I guess that's what they were going for.

Because you're basing future performance on past results, always a smart move.
I screwed up with numbering the chapters last time and had Chapter 34 as 35, so I may have caused your phone great confusion. (Wait, I did fix that, didn't I?)

I love that you explored The Hub near death scene as it was originally written - with Billy as Laura's "spirit guide."
Not going to lie, I melted when Laura finally said The Words.
Also, Lee being there to help his Dad and his GF is so adorable. Yay! Lee's starting to redeem himself!
Okay...back to eating now. :D :P

It's also fun to find ways to do the I love you for Laura. But it gets me every time too!

You have so much faith in Lee! So cute to see...

I am hoping (perhaps foolishly) that he redeems himself here like he redeems himself after the mutiny arch.
