Bwahahaha! I'll have you know that those were December temperature records! 17 degrees C in late fall is quite unnatural. The last few days were so nice... and then it rained last night >.< Bye bye warm weather, see ya next year :/

So many things to love with this chapter (as with every chapter you post)

- Laura's ever increasing sexual confidence! And that she used a tip from the magazine! LOL!
- Bill's persistence to share more with Laura and her gradual acceptance. I really like that Laura isn't giving up her independence here, rather integrating her life with Bill's a little bit at a time.
- the chatting women and how they mirrored canon. Most people didn't believe a former schoolteacher could be an effective president (including our beloved Commander) and here most people don't believe a former nun could be sexually active...if only they knew!

The next chapter should be interesting! Laura and Kara! Fun times!

Perhaps it's wishful thinking, but I assume Laura would be a fast learner.

Most people didn't believe a former schoolteacher could be an effective president (including our beloved Commander) and here most people don't believe a former nun could be sexually active...if only they knew!

That's a very good observation. Underestimating Laura has been a mistake by many characters. :D

The next chapter should be interesting! Laura and Kara! Fun times!

Inquisitive Laura is so funny. I enjoy her determination in learning and applying her new knowledge. ;) And I can't believe you managed to work in a hair frak. Awesome.

Nice fairly non-awkward birth control conversation. I had been wondering why they were so insistent in using condoms and this addressed it.

Even though I realize for a later 40's woman, it's a very remote chance of pregnancy, any chance would need to be addressed (and kill any babyfic thoughts) plus concerns about a late age baby...No. Not for this fic.

I finally caught up with this fic and I have to say that I love the idea of Laura being a nun. It gives you soooooooo many new possibilities. Can´t wait to see how you are going to explore them :)
And, I personally consider this the best possible reward after hellish weekend at work :)

NUNFIC!!!!

God, she loved the smell of him.

I love that, although she can't admit that she loves him yet, she can freely admit to herself that she loves certain things about him. We're getting closer! :P

The flap of his boxers gaped open and she had to swallow the silly giggle that welled; she was playing peek-a-boo with a sleepy gopher.

*giggle* I laughed right along with her. Hehe.

But Bill had an underlying smell of good clean soap, then wore a light but effective cologne that she could only describe rather inarticulately as yummy.

Gotta love Bill and his hygiene! (This is Bill's OTP, hehe!)

She had the general concept of what he had been asking. But the connotations in her mind were all dark and violent. Boys screaming at other children across the schoolyard, 'Suck my dick!' Girls in high school justifying doing that to remain virgins and avoid pregnancy. The other girls shivering in horror at the idea of having a boy's 'thingie' in their mouths ( ... )

This was a great reward after forcing myself to use my day off to catch up on some work. And ditto to everything defyingnormalcy said. Fun, fun, fun. I don't even mind having Kara show up; it should be interesting to see their interaction. I'm just grateful it isn't a fight. Thank you.
