It was a single gold earring, obviously very old. A bit of pirate booty, buried hundreds of years ago on this Old California coastline and forgotten? The last remnant of some drowning victim? Dropped by a lady as she'd strolled in the moonlight with her lover? It didn't matter. It was my treasure, and my search was over. )

House porn is awesome. (Historically accurate bathroom FTW!) Prickly Laura is awesome. (Three left. Well, he'd just have to get more, wouldn't he, she thought huffily.) Their fooling around was so funny and sweet and then interrupted! Boo to pornus interruptus! (But OMG. Their morning conversing while messing around as well as Bill's internal monologue are so funny.) And then being busted by Deanna!! Lol!

So much for spending a lazy day in bed together, huh? The story has taken an ominous turn what with Baltar here. Exciting! But I'm with Laura, I wish Bill was with her too. :-/

Indeed! I keep flipping the dialogue and characters as a way to change things up in the AU. It's familiar, yet different. (I hope)

*morning is made for lovin' even when you've got nervous Laura
*he is the Notorious Snuggler, after all
*we know that Bill and Laura will do the PDA when the mood strikes them
*I'm trying to use canon dialogue as much as possible. It's so easy to sort of slip off into my AU and that keeps it grounded.
*we know Bill is brave and strong and not a skeerity cat, so let's assume he'll let a newbie loose on his man bits with only a tiny bit of concern
*I think she's a wee bit in love too. "Don't you dare ever stand in front of bullets! Ever!"

Well as usual it was fabulous, I have to agree with defyingnormalcy on all the reasons it was amazing. Love how you manage to bring in bits and pieces of the show with every chapter. You're so creative!

As much as I am loving this AU, I think I'm feeling a smidgen of the same dissatisfaction as Bill and Laura! :D

I adored the morning after sexiness, but oh! How much I just want them to get things right! One thing that I really love here is the sense that sex doesn't mean intimacy, and that Laura will have to open up much more than just her body in order to really grow and move on from her old life.

Uh oh. Baltar now? I'm already nervous about what's in store.
