The crypts were kinda spooky, it was all damp and cold. And while we were down there looking around, an adult choral practice started in the cathedral above us, and you could hear, very faintly, the chords they were singing. It had a chilling effect, but was soooo neat.
About the "As the Romans Do" point you brought up- I so agree!!! That's one of my favorite things about that piece that I couldn't place my finger on when I was reccing it (is 'reccing' even a word?) The explanations she comes up with for all sorts of stuff that happened on that show is incredible. Some of I've wondered about before, and some new ideas, but all just fit so well into the whole scheme. It took me longer than expected to post this time, partly because I got sucked into this fic and couldn't do anything until I finished! Oh, nasty good writers and their addictive fics!
