My father's goal was to bring honor and dignity back to our company's name. He wished to atone for the transgressions my grandfather had committed years prior.

He... was unable to do this while he was alive. In his stead, I wish to do it for him.

[a beat]

I will... do whatever is necessary to accomplish his goals. Even if... it requires marrying someone I do not love.

But others have questioned whether the marriage is truly a requirement, or simply a business arrangement that the Kirijo Group would do better without.

...hm. I think I understand, somewhat. If it is simply a business arrangement, are there not better ways to go about it?

Forgive me if this seems to be prying, I'm just curious as to how these things work.
