All good choices! Give "Out of Africa" a try; it's getting really good! And I'm not normally a Spawn fan (at least not that way! I love Spike/Dawn friendship stories) but I'm genuinely enjoying "Access all Areas".
I think I might start reading Out of Africa before it's finished - I'm very very tempted. Spawn is one of those far too squicky relationships for me normally (although I will admit to having read one excellent wrong Spawn fic), but CW has done it in a very acceptable manner. I just need to come at it when my Spuffy brain is looking elsewhere.
Nice list but the first story started in 2005 which means it can't be used. Do you have a substitute that you could add that began in 2006? And do you have a date for the start of The Cut, I couldn't find one on the website.
If we host another Classic Rec's Weekend, then you could certainly list Marking Time.
Just wanted to clear up the confusion -- a story (or community, or any kind of ongoing thing) qualifies as long as it was active in 2006. So an abandoned WIP that was started in 2005 might be fine for our Classic Recs (where anything goes really) but shouldn't be included in the year-end wrapup for 2006.
On the other hand a WIP that had even 1 or 2 posts in 2006 is fine regardless of when it started. In fact I remember a while back seeing some excited posts from readers of a story that started a few years ago, had had a long hiatus, and got some new posts this year. Those restarted works can be news!
I adore Collateral Damade by Cindermom, but I remember the torture of waiting for the next part, so I'm putting the sequel off until it will be complete (Or, at least, I'm trying to... some day I won't be able to resist the temptation and will read the first chapters only to whine to myself that I want to read the ending immediately). The rest of them are new to me. I'm starting with Annapurna's story. Thanks for the recs!

I didn't read Collateral Damage until very recently, and was so taken up with it that I just couldn't stop myself from starting the sequel immediately. Hope you enjoy the other fics.

i know what you mean! The scenario she writes though-- Dawn is much older, and stops aging-- really works. I think you'll like it!

Well, I could probably come up with a list of at least five fics that would have me really excited if that happened.

Ooh, that leaped out at me :> Along with mysteries, adventure fic doesn't seem to be written that often. New tag!
Sounds a great group of stories -- thanks for the post.
