Things are just getting more and more boring. I swear, even shopping isn't exciting anymore. I went into four stores today and only bought three dresses. Three! I used to get a hundred. I did find the most adorable shoes though. They have this cute little red heel. They would have cost $500 except of course I didn't pay for them. The shop ( Read more... )

After I left Spike's crypt I decided to take the long way back home. I knew mom was expecting me to walk through those doors with Dawn two steps behind me. No, I wasn't looking forward to the look of shock and worry on her face when I didn't have Dawn at my side.

I decided to swing by the Bronze to see if Willow, Xander, Tara, or Anya had gone by there. I doubted it because of all that had happened, but it couldn't hurt to check. Hey, maybe one of them would come with me to the house so Mom wouldn't kill me with no witnesses. The only thing was.. God, I hoped they didn't have me-.. Anne with them ( ... )

I hadn't had any luck finding the slayer. I'd brainsucked some guy, but it wasn't really compensation. God, Sunnydale has to be the most boring place ever. Mortal life sucks, you'd think the puny humans would've realised that by now and given up life as a lost cause. But no, they keep dragging out their lame existences. So tragic.

I was just about to head home when I saw the blonde slayer I'd had a fight with. She looked in my direction, then just shook her head slightly and headed towards the entrance.

"Hello?!" I said, striding over. "Are you ignoring me? Don't you know that's incredibly rude?"

Once I started to get nearer to the door, I halted and wondered if I really wanted to go inside. One part of me knew that if anyone was inside there would be questions, worried looks, and possibly someone who looked exactly like me with them. On the other hand, I just didn't want to face going home to the same questions, looks, and faces. Maybe I should've just called home and stayed over at Spike's with Dawn. God, Buffy. First you have an actual good time while you're over there and now you want to go back? Where are the pigs and why aren't they flying?

I heard a voice behind me, but ignored it and just started walking past the building. It wasn't until I saw the leopard slut walking towards me that I stopped and looked at her.

Glancing around me, I had no idea what she was talking about. Was I supposed to know her at all? "Uh.. yeah, sorry. I, um.. Well,.. Do I know you?"

I could not believe this. It was just so insulting.

"Did I break your brain when I gave you that beating the other night?" I said. "I didn't realise the Slayer could be so incredibly stupid." I pushed her, and she just fell over. "Hey, wait a minute," I said, looking at her closely. "Did you go and lose your mojo?"
