Hi everyone. I´d like to share pictures from the Brokeback Mountain filming locations I visited a few weeks ago during my vacation to Alberta, Canada.
I was there to meet up with other Brokies for some "drinkin´and talkin´ and all". First I spent a few days on my own, driving forth and back across the prairie and into Glacier National Park in ( Read more... )

Great photos! It must have been so weird to be in the places that they filmed BBM. I remember feeling very odd when I went to Graceland a few years ago - just imagining that Elvis had walked on the same carpets (and I'm not even an Elvis fan!!)

Thanks for sharing

what a wonderful trip!! I am loving all the re-enactment :)

I can't imagine how it feels to stand on the same spot Jack and Ennis had been... wow.

Beautiful and interesting pictures. It must have been great fun reinact the scenes(The dead sheep is my favourite). I love open spaces so several pictures appealed to me very much. The mountains and the plains. They tug at my travel-lust big time. The rodeo must have been a treat to go to and that picture you use as header... I hope you put your copyright on that one.

Looks like you all had a wonderful time out west. Have you all planned to meet next year as well?

Take care in this rainy pre-autumn. I guess now is the time to look at travel-pictures and remember.

Hugs.

Excellent!! Thank you so much for sharing!
I recognise Sonja, and Chuck, and Debbie in the photos...
Sonja also sent me a postcard from Alberta, saying she was having a terrific time with all the Brokies!
I'm glad you had too!
Thank you
Paola
