Where I´d like to live

Jun 07, 2009 14:52

I have just found the place where I would like to live. Browsing the Finding Brokeback site, I found these two pics of Annie Proulx´s former home outside Centennial, WY. She wrote most of Brokeback Mountain here.

I don´t often see spots where I can picture myself live, but this place speaks to me. It´d be a sweet life.

I know what you mean. I could spend hours there, just staring out the window.

We better start to play the lottery or something

Hi, Judy!

I don´t know if it´s still for sale or not. Hopefully it will be until the day someone of us wins the lottery big time. Yes, plenty of room. We could share and then sit around writing and reading fan fiction all day long.

See u soon!

O, I can tell it's so quiet there. The trees and the mountains are lovely. And I bet there is an old heating stove inside. Pop in some logs and curl up in a big armchair. It's very easy imagining Ennis and Jack on horseback riding across that plain behind the house. I have no trouble understanding why you love it. :) And it's fun to see what kind of house in what kind of place you could imagine deserting A-sund for. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for those millions of dollars falling into your lap. Stranger things have happened... Like... Eh... Let me get back to you on that.

PS. The new header-pic is beautiful. Mountains are very cool.
