Senator Obama is in my area today. Yay (not that I can go see him... he's doing an invitation only thing, but I'm glad he's here anyway). I just hope traffic isn't going to be nuts when I leave work.

Track is over. Yay. And yesterday's meet actually ended a little early for once, so I had time to get Casey fed and to gymnastics on time. They got beat pretty bad at the track meet and she was kind of upset about it at first, but I distracted her with other topics of conversation until she forgot. Hannah Montana was pretty good last night, although I'm kind of annoyed that I can't get her songs out of my head. I would love to have an ounce of her energy. I can't imagine how exhausting it must be to run around that stage for 2 hours while singing and then do it all over again the next night. Portfolio Night at Casey's school was kind of a waste of time. Not the school's fault, it was more about Casey being uncooperative. After 4 pre-selected students read their essays to everyone (they were very good), all the kids were supposed to bring over a folder with all of the papers they'd written so far this year and show them to us. I watched 2 award shows last night - Critics Choice and Peoples Choice. I think the critics have it more right than the people. Pth. I was glad to see Juno recognized so much.
