Torn between being excited about having today off work and being unhappy that it's because my hours were cut. I'm going to ignore that second thing and enjoy it. I'm currently participating in what is normally my Saturday morning ritual (which the yard sale kept me from doing last weekend), to sleep in and then stay in bed on the laptop for a bit

I hope she makes it! All-county and All-state band is a lot of fun, if stressful.

Actually we're able to use vacation/sick time to cover the extra day, so for the time being I'll still be getting full checks. But 8 hours a week will add up and I'll run out pretty quickly, so I'm going to continue trying to pick up extra hours instead.

Money never seems to be okay for me (SIGH), so it's good that it's not getting worse, at least for now.
