HOLY SHIT

The famous Natalie just sent an email to me and Daniel. Holy crap, check it out:

Daniel -

I’m very sorry you feel the way that you do. I can see clearly now that we are not friends. Yes, I missed the day marking the one year of your mother’s death, but did you stop to consider why? I bet not. I think that I have been very gracious and forgiving, especially given what I know.

For example: I know, and have known for a while, that you have been playing Kelly and I against each other. I’m sure she is very nice and not at all the horrible person you’ve made her out to be to me and all of my friends. I’ve told them so since. And, I know you’ve said some really wretched things about me to her. I’ve been trying to figure out why you would do something like that - I thought maybe it was just you having a hard time, but I can’t seem to grasp why you would do that. Why would you tell me (and Joseph, and Gene, and Kyle, and Scott, and Amy, and Steph) that you deleted Kelly’s number in front of her face and then tell her that I deleted it from your phone?? These things make no sense to me. Why would you say such things????

For a while now no one has understood why I was still trying to be nice to you. I just hate to see a friendship of 3 years go down the drain for what had to be some sort of misunderstanding. I just kept telling myself that you didn’t mean it, you were just trying to impress Kelly and make yourself look like a hero and what did it hurt really besides my feelings? What I should have been telling myself was that a friend wouldn’t say those sorts of things.

If you’re wondering, yes, I looked at your email. That time you said you told Kelly to go screw herself you repeated several times that you told her I wasn’t looking at your email anymore. I just didn’t understand why she would’ve thought that I was. It ate at me a couple days, and I started to understand that there was more to the story than what you were telling me - I just never expected how much more.

Kelly -

I want to apologize for believing the things he said. At first I tried very hard to get together with you. You have a daughter, I have 2! I didn’t understand why we couldn’t all hang out, but I guess now I do. The clincher was on Kayla’s 6th birthday. Her birthday fell on a Monday, and I was going to do the party the weekend before, but Daniel was going to be out of town, so I told him that I would do it the weekend after. What I didn’t know then, was that EVERYONE, my friends, Kayla’s friends, and even my Dad - who is the only family I have here in Florida, was going to be busy that weekend (oddly, they were all free the weekend before). I kept the party on that weekend anyway, because I promised Daniel. The entire time the party was going on, Daniel was all upset because he said you were throwing a fit about a picnic. He sat in the corner the entire time he was there and then left early. That was when I started bearing a grudge against you. Now, looking back, you probably weren’t doing that at all, and I’m sorry for believing it.

I just can’t believe I was so wrong about you Daniel. I thought you were so sweet and caring. I never had you pegged for being a manipulative liar. The only hypocrite I know, Daniel, is you.

Natalie

SO... the question is, is she just being nuts and making all this up, or has he been feeding me crap about her all along? You know I kind of believe her. Things start making more sense when I do. WOAH. If this is true, I'm going to be really pissed. I really trusted him.

EDIT: Come to think of it, Daniel told me that Natalie gave him a card on the anniversary of his mother's death. Actually he said "Mass card" and I asked him twice what that was and never got an answer (we were texting). So, what this means to me is that he's the liar. Why would Natalie lie and say she didn't do anything for that day? She would want to make herself look better. Hm.
