This is great; can't wait to see where it goes. Characterizations FTW. I'm only familiar with GK and Firefly but, reading this, that really doesn't matter. Awesome! Bring more!

And I think I just found a new canon! This is fantastic, your Ray voice is amazing, I LOVE Amanda and remember both her and Nate from the show, and the rest I'm not too familiar with but your resources were very helpful.
I loved this part especially:

Ray winks at her. "What the fuck do you care? I'm cute."
Amanda grins. "Looks like we're not the only delusional ones here."
