Woohoo! *goes into jiggy celebratory dance*
The last two days have been a steady slog down Interstate 40, past an endless expanse of empty plains beneath an emptier sky. For the first time in months, the air smells fresh.
You want to know what's creepy? Last week I drove down 40 through the Texas panhandle on the way to L.A., and as I was driving through Texas there was this really heavy fog where you couldn't see more than three white dashes ahead, and every so often semis would loom out of the fog and pass the opposite way, only to disappear like ghost into the fog in the rearview mirror.
Things still aren't great, but it looks like Sam is starting to get better, and New Mexico is fast approaching. Looking forward to the next bit.

*shiver* that does sound creepy. like something stephen king wrote. this sounds really stupid, but i always get spooked driving in fog, cuz i'm afraid the rest of the world disappeared. *weirdo*

In this chapter I really liked Sam and not-Sam sorta duking it out (creative!) and I'm glad Sam's getting a little bit better. :) Can't wait until chapter 8 is up! Thank you for writing! ♥

Sam's dreamstate must be really torturing him. That was the best thing for the YED to use against Sammy. And, it's so awesome that you brought Izzy back to help Sammy deal and that she dragged Dean into it. That's so perfect.

It's interesting that even after Dean killed off the bad part of Sam, his guilt is keeping it alive. With how much guilt Sam's capable of, it'd be pretty real. Great symbolism with Sam fighting his inner demons and finally being able to defeat them. That's so awesome that it helped him to be able to wake up.
YES! sam finally realized he can overcome what he's done.
It's so sad, how much love Andy had for Izzy and how deep the pain was when she died. I love that you kept him true to ( ... )
