Yay Nightmare Before Christmas! Oh, and if you like funny-scary movies, have you seen the Frighteners? I haven't watched it in ages and I may be glorifying it a bit in my memory, but when I was younger that was my favourite funny-scary film.

(Also, beware - there may be a sort of big BoB spam coming this weekend. I may have been a leetle too ambitious. *facepalm*)

I usually dont do scary movies, I've never been a big fan of horror besides cheesy stuff from the 60s, like those Peter Cushing/Christopher Lee Dracula films my father subjected me to in childhood but there are a few on my list.

-Halloween (the original and still the best)
-Scream
-The Sixth Sense
-Audition
-Nightmare on Elm Street (the original, though I'm too chicken to watch it again)
-The Omen
-The Exorcist
-The Devil's Rejects
-Sleepy Hollow

Holy moly, I cant believe I came up with nine. Suspense, more so than horror is my thing...something like Silence of the Lambs (which is actually scary as hell first time around) or Dead Again. I really love The Nightmare before Christmas : )

I tried to come up with only 10 scary movies, and then got overwhelmed and went to play some "night of the scarecrows" on MSN games. So, I've got a list of 10 scary movies that I'd happily watch on Halloween or any other time of year.

1. The Exorcist.
2. Near Dark.
3. Zombieland.
4. House of 1000 Corpses.
5. The Hunger.
6. Shaun of the Dead.
7. Halloween (both the original and the Rob Zombie reboot).
8. Lost Boys.
9. Zombie Strippers.
10. Silence of the Lambs.

I picked up "Let The Right One In" last weekend at the Horror Film Fest. I haven't watched it yet, but look forward to doing so soon.
